With over 18,000 photographs already converted to digital format, I am trying to share some with my website visitors. Of course, they are primarily showing family members across the years. In the future I intend to add some of the images I have taken on some of our vacation trips, so keep coming back and, as time permits, I will keep adding more images to these and other online albums. Signs of Spring

Although we have both been "under the weather" for most of the last 3 weeks, we took a slow stroll around our yard late yesterday and these 21 pictures show some of what we saw.

Here’s a link to an online photo album showing Mildred Spencer’s 2012 birthday celebration. It has 70 photographs that includes most everyone who attended as well as the table decorations, menu, etc., plus a video of everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to Mildred and her blowing out the candles ... just 3 this year - skipping over those first 90! Doniphan, Missouri Heritage Homestead Museum

While visiting various cemeteries looking for ancestors I came across this little museum filled with artifacts from the days of my grandparents ... and it seemed quite fitting to reflect upon how those ancestors probably made use of these sorts of things most every day of their lives. The Moore Family Christmas Dinner 2011
Features candid shots of the extended family of Novell and Truman Moore got together on December 10, 2011, at the home of Truman Jr in Corning, Arkansa,s to renew family ties and celebrate Christmas as one big family. Sonjia's Beach Trip 2011 - a full screen slideshow of Sonjia and her family at the beach during a much needed break in her on-going treatment for brain cancer. Note: this album is restricted to family members only by a sign in page.

The Jersey Baptist Chruch - a photo album showing what Roger and Janice Baxter found at the historic Jersey Baptist Church near Lexington, NC, on a beautiful fall afternoon. This is the very church established by the Merrell family and others who moved from New Jersey to North Carolina in colonial times. Included are gravestones and high resolution images of a grave locator diagram and a listing of members of the Merrell family grave sites.

A Spring Walk Through Bethabara Park - this full screen slideshow displays some of the sights in a Winston Salem, NC, park on a beautiful, warm spring afternoon. This album shows the hillside just west of the first Moravian settlement in North Carolina in early colonial days. Included are wild flowers, huge hollow trees, and a pair of ducks meandering a quiet stream in the park, plus spring flowers in our own yard.

A Late Spring Snow and Roger's Birthday 2011 - a short full screen slideshow of spring flowers and interior decorations, a sudden late spring snow (that was thankfully gone in a few hours - the poor flowers!), and Roger's 60th birthday.

The BIG Puppy Sisters - a photo album showing how much the (formerly) little Puppy Sisters have grown. These pictures were taken in January 2011 - you can see other earlier photos of the Puppy Sisters through links listed below or from links on this page.

This photo album is now available in two formats:

A Day at the Dixie Classic Fair - a photo album of our visit to the fair. We see the chickens, horses, cows, sheep, and flower exhibits, the high pole acrobatic artists, the Racing Pigs, plus the foot powered wooden bowl maker, the tinsmith, and the dog pirate show, and top it off the day with the fireworks.

The Puppy Sisters Reunion - a photo album of the recent return of the Puppy Sisters to visit their foster home where they lived for 9 weeks this summer ... and fun they had with all of their neighborhood friends that came to see them.

The Puppy Sisters - until now these have been only linked to on a separate page. But now here, COVERING ALL 9 WEEKS OF THEIR TIME WITH US, they are in all of their feistiness, growing like crazy, expanding their world every day, gobbling down all their dog food and select garden vegetables, and getting into every bit of trouble they can find. ALBUM HAS NOW BEEN FURTHER EXPANDED to include 6 weeks of continued growth at their new permanent home ... with their new Mommy, big brother-dog, and step-cats. These two girls have grown!

Our Pumpkin in the Sky - watch it grow and turn orange. Covers its growth from egg size to basket ball size atop a 8 foot high trellis. Album now includes scenes since it has been harvested and now decorating our dining table.
