This video was taken on January 2011 when we went to visit the Puppy Sisters at their loving home. These are the two tiny puppies who were dropped off on our doorstep in late June 2010. Fortunately Mary has given them a good permanent home. And in the 8 months of their still young lives they have grown from helpless little puppy girls into big healthy girls.
(LENGTH: 4 minutes)
The first to run out to meet us is Piper (formerly known as Sissy), seen here wearing the black collar. Roxie (formerly known as Missy) is wearing the red collar. Without the collars it is hard to distinguish between these two girls. It takes a very close look at the white patch on their chest (Roxie's is larger and in the shape of a W), or the one course white hair above Roxie's right eye (on the left when looking her in the face). And once you get to know them real well, there are small differences in the shape of their heads.
These two still growing girls now weighing in at over 60 pounds each. Thery live with their nice new Mommy and a big brother-dog, Buster, and two step-cats, Lizzie and Wheezer with a spaceous fenced in yard.
