Summer 2012 Update Wednesday, Jul 11 Dear Friends of the Justin W. Jones Evangelistic Association, We hope your summer is going well. Hopefully, you are all taking some much needed vacations and time off. Lisa is working in the corporate world at this time for Chicago Title Company. The Lord (through a dear church friend of ours, Elizabeth Newsome) opened a door for Lisa to help provide salary and benefits for us. Lisa began working part-time a few months back and began full-time in April. (Please pray for the office, staff and the Lord’s hand on the business.) Beginning in July, Lisa’s health, dental and eye benefits began. PRAISE the LORD! (This takes a major load off of our Evangelistic budget.) We are both having dental crown work done and (as most of you know) is not cheap. THE LORD always provides (Phil. 4 19) and HE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!! We continue to serve the Lord at Germanton Baptist Church. We work with the children in TEAM Kid on Wednesdays and teach adults in Bible Study on Sundays. We try to encourage and assist our Pastor and staff any way we can. Also, we had a MISSION TEAM of 20 adults and youth just return from the Dominican Republic. They were led by our Student Minister, Philip Crouse. MAY THE LORD USE THEIR EXPERIENCE TO IGNITE A REVIVAL SPIRIT IN OUR CHURCH!! God is at work in Germanton and we are thankful to be a part of this great Kingdom work! We will be sending out another Newsletter in September with our Fall Revival Schedule and updates for future ministries. THANK YOU ALL for your continued prayers and financial support of this ministry!! Servants for the Savior, Justin and Lisa Jones (Romans 1 16) Justin
Mission Project Update Monday, Sep 21 I hope you are all having a blessed September and are looking forward to the Fall Season! Our ministry (THE JUSTIN W. JONES EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION) is in full gear at Germanton Baptist Church! Campus Minister and Football Team Chaplain, Joe Haines, baptized Joe Looney, one of the Wake Forest football players on September 6th followed by testimonies from Wake Forest athletes and a luincheon for parents, coaches and players! On September 13th, a family of 3 joined Germanton as new members!
Former Pastor and my friend, Dennis Collins, is improving every week! Dennis has officially resigned as Pastor at Germanton in order that he might take some much needed time off. I am taking my Interim Pastorate position month to month as the Lord leads. Please pray for Germanton Baptist as the church family secures a Pastor Search Committee in the days ahead.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED LOVE FOR US, OUR MINISTRY and THE LORD!!
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!! Justin and Lisa
NOW, A SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST... Monday, Sep 21 My long-time friend, Tony Kersey, from Knoxville, TN needs our prayers and support! Tony is now a single parent trying to make ends meet and raise a teenage son. Tony works full-time in a mental care facility (which is beyond stressful) doing all that he can to provide a home for his son, Gabe. Lisa and I are going to use the Mission Money from our Budget to help Tony with needs he currently has. We feel it is our privilege to help a brother in need. If anyone would like to help us to help Tony and Gabe, please send a contribution to the Justin W. Jones Evangelistic Association and mark your gift for Missions / Tony Kersey. We so appreciate your prayers and support! Justin and Lisa
PRAYER for CLAY HAMMOND Monday, Sep 21 We ask for your SPECIAL PRAYER for CLAY HAMMOND (son of Bob and Brenda Hammond, Seymour, TN). Clay (20 years old) is fighting for his life after a car accident last week in Florida. Justin and Lisa
